Editorial Process


Article Handling Timeline
This section provides an overview of the editorial process followed by the journal, from the moment a manuscript is received until it is published. The entire process typically takes about 14 - 15 weeks, ensuring a rigorous, fair, and efficient review and publication workflow.

1. Submission Received Author submits the manuscript through the online submission system. Author / Editorial Assistant Week 1 Week 1
2. Initial Screening Editor-in-Chief reviews the manuscript scope and format and conducts a plagiarism check using Turnitin or iThenticate. Editor-in-Chief Week 1–2 Week 2
3. Assignment to Section Editor Manuscript is assigned to an appropriate Section Editor based on the subject area and expertise. Editor-in-Chief Week 2 Week 2
4. Reviewer Invitation Section Editor invites qualified reviewers based on the manuscript's subject area. Section Editor Week 2–3 Week 3
5. Peer Review Reviewers evaluate the manuscript's quality, originality, methodological rigor, and contribution. Reviewers Week 3–7 Week 7
6. Evaluation of Review Reports Section Editor evaluates the review reports and provides an editorial recommendation. Section Editor Week 7–8 Week 8
7. Author Revision Author revises the manuscript in response to reviewer comments and editorial recommendations. Author Week 8–10 Week 10
8. Revised Manuscript Evaluation The revised manuscript is evaluated by the Section Editor and, when necessary, the reviewers. Section Editor / Reviewers Week 10–11 Week 11
9. Final Editorial Decision Editor-in-Chief makes the final editorial decision based on the review reports and editorial assessment. Editor-in-Chief Week 11–12 Week 12
10. Copyediting and Proofreading Accepted manuscript is edited for grammar, clarity, consistency, and formatting. Copyeditor / Editorial Assistant Week 12–13 Week 13
11. Layout and Galley Proofing Final layout is prepared and the author reviews the galley proof for necessary corrections. Layout Editor / Author Week 13–14 Week 14
12. Online Publication Final article is published online and its DOI is registered. Editorial Team Week 14 Week 14
