Article Processing Charges
APC Policy
Starting from submissions received on 1 July 2026, JACoIT will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy for manuscripts intended for publication beginning with Vol. 1, No. 3 (December 2026) and subsequent issues.
The APC is introduced to support journal management, editorial processing, digital publishing, website maintenance, DOI registration, indexing preparation, and long-term archiving services.

If a manuscript does not follow the required template, the author is encouraged to revise the formatting independently at no additional cost.
Alternatively, authors may request the Optional Editorial Formatting Service, in which the JACoIT Editorial Team will adjust the manuscript according to the official journal template.

This service is entirely optional. It is provided solely to assist authors with manuscript formatting and does not include substantive editing, language editing, methodological revision, or modification of the scientific content.
The use of the Editorial Formatting Service has no influence on the peer-review process, editorial decision, acceptance, or publication of the manuscript.
Screening and Payment Process
All submitted manuscripts will first undergo an initial editorial screening conducted by the editorial team.
The APC payment request will be sent to authors whose manuscripts:
- are within the journal's scope;
- have passed the initial editorial and plagiarism screening; and
- are considered suitable to proceed to the peer-review process.
Authors are not required to make any payment at the time of initial submission.
Once a manuscript has passed the Initial Editorial Screening, the standard Publication Processing and Publication Fee (APC) must be paid before the manuscript officially enters the peer-review stage.
If the author chooses the Optional Editorial Formatting Service, the applicable formatting service fee must also be paid before the editorial team begins the formatting work.
What the APC Covers
The standard APC covers:
- Editorial and administrative processing
- Double-blind peer-review management
- DOI registration
- Website and system maintenance
- Digital archiving and preservation
- Metadata management and indexing preparation
- Final publication and online hosting
The APC does not include the Optional Editorial Formatting Service fee. The formatting fee applies only when the author chooses to have the manuscript formatted by the JACoIT Editorial Team.
Payment Methods
Detailed payment instructions and available payment channels will be provided by the editorial office after the manuscript passes the initial screening process.
Authors who complete payment are required to provide proof of payment to the editorial office for verification.
Payment Deadline
To ensure that the editorial process can proceed without unnecessary delay, authors are expected to complete the required payment within two weeks of receiving the payment notification.
For authors who choose to revise the manuscript formatting themselves, the properly formatted revised manuscript should also be submitted through the Discussion section of the OJS submission system within the specified period.
Waiver Policy
In certain cases, APC waivers or reductions may be considered for authors with significant financial limitations, based on editorial evaluation and journal policy.
Requests for APC waivers should be submitted to the editorial office before the payment process.
The waiver policy applies to the standard APC and does not automatically include the Optional Editorial Formatting Service.
Open Access Policy
JACoIT provides immediate open access to all published articles to support the global dissemination of scientific knowledge without subscription barriers.
Note: APC and optional service fees may change at any time based on journal policies and other relevant considerations.
